What Is Involved With Breast Augmentation Surgery?
A successful breast augmentation procedure is when your breasts look natural.
The procedure takes between one or two hours is performed under general anaesthetic. Sometimes, if the patient desires, the breast augmentation can be performed as a day-stay or overnight procedure.
In order to achieve natural looking breasts careful assessment and detailed measurements are taken. This then allows Dr Anderson to determine which kind of operation would be best either a simple size or increase or a slightly more complex procedure needs to be undertaken.
Typically, a breast augmentation involves placing an implant into a pocket formed under the breast tissue. As has been mentioned there are many things to take into consideration when deciding on breast implants. Depending on what you are looking for in a breast augmentation will determine the best course of action to take.
